The "DA Motor / DA Controller" is a three-phase induction (AC) motor (with sensor) that can be operated with a battery power supply. By driving through a dedicated DA controller, voltage conversion losses are minimized, allowing for efficient charging of regenerative energy back into the battery. The DA motor is a totally enclosed external fan type and does not have carbon brushes.
